PROGRAMME OF EVENTS for 2019

January 24th (Thursday) – Quiz Night – by Mrs Elys Varney (7.30 pm)

February 28th (Thursday) – Talk by Mr Andy Blow of ‘Blow by Blow Productions’ on ‘Lincoln Bygones’ (7.30pm)

March 21st (Thursday) –  Talk by M/s Caroline Bird, City of Lincoln Council Community Services Manager on the Boultham Park Restoration Scheme (7.30pm)

April 4th (Thursday)  –  Talk by Liz Bates, Heritage Lincolnshire on Heritage Lincolnshire and it’s activities during the forthcoming year in 2019 with connection to the ‘Greyfriars’ project, Heritage Open Days and any other projects in the City of Lincoln (7.30pm)

May 16th (Thursday)Annual General Meeting (7.30pm)

June 27th (Thursday) –  Talk by Mr Alistair Mackintosh, City of Lincoln Council Archaeologist on ‘Lincoln Finds’ – (7.30pm)

July 18th (Thursday) – Visit – Hill Holt Wood – 11 am – limited spaces (Own Transport to be used – if lifts are required then please contact the office)

August  15th (Thursday)Visit to St Anne’s Bedehouses with a guided walk/talk from Ruth Kitchen, Warden at the Bedehouses with refreshments afterwareds – this has limited spaces of no more than 20, therefore if you are interested then please book early (2pm)

September 7th (Saturday)Heritage Open Day – 10am – 4pm – Volunteers always needed – Please contact the Office to confirm

September 12th (Thursday) – Visit to Lincoln Cathedral where Dr Anne Irving and Contractor will give you a guided walk/talk with reference to the proposed ‘Cathedral Connected’ developments with refreshments afterwards at the ‘Connected’ HQ (27 Minster Yard) (2-3pm)

October  (Thursday) –   TBC

November (Thursday)– TBC
