2022 Programme:

FEBRUARY, 10th – Thursday – 2pm – Quiz Event for members and none members with refreshments

MARCH, 10th – Thursday – 2pm – Talk to be given by Trevor Pacey (ex Anglian Water) on ‘WaterAid Charity’ and writer of   ‘To Fetch a Pail of Water’ with refreshments afterwards. Members and none members are most welcome to the event.

APRIL, 7th – Thursday – 2pm – Talk to be given by Caroline Killeavy, CEO, YMCA with refreshments afterwards. Members and none members are most welcome to the event.

JUNE, 9th – Thursday – 2pm – 4pm – Visit to Saxilby with a Guided Walk and Talk given by the Saxilby & District History Group with refreshments afterwards, hopefully, at the Anglers. Members and none members are most welcome – please e-mail the Trust if you are interested with your contact details. There will be more information nearer the event.

JUNE, 16th  – Thursday, 7.30pm – Annual General Meeting which is held here in the Great Hall, St Mary’s Guildhall, Lincoln.

JULY, 14th – Thursday – 11am – Visit to Barton on Humber Civic Trust with time to have lunch and refreshments and a walk around various buildings of interest (let us know if you will require transport).  Those who have previously paid for their trip last year then your names are still on the Trust’s list, if for any reason you are unable to attend then please let me know). None members are most welcome.

OCTOBER, 27th – Thursday – 2pm – Author & Historian – Joanne Major – ‘Lucy Locket lost her pocket, Kitty Fisher found it. Not a penny was there in it, only ribbon round it’.  Who was the real Kitty Fisher? Discover her story and those of other eighteenth- and nineteenth-century courtesans in this entertaining talk.

NOVEMBER, 21st – Monday, 2pm – 4pm – Talk on the ‘HSHAZ Project‘ down the lower half of the City and including here at St Mary’s Guildhall, Lincoln by Carys Fieldson, Project Officer, City of Lincoln Council – Glass of wine or Schloer and mince pie for refreshments. Members and none members most welcome.

(Open Evening/Day Events meet at 2pm (during the day) and 7.30pm (evening) at St Mary’s Guildhall (Great Hall), 385 High Street, Lincoln LN5 7SF – unless there is a Visit made – If you require any information then do please contact or e-mail the Office)
